A Presentation by Rabbi David Zaslow
The Israelites, like other indigenous peoples, had a view of reality that is markedly different than the way we perceive and process the world around us. It has been called Hebraic thinking – a more wholistic view of reality. Unity rather than duality, harmony rather than antagonism. Rabbi David will use words and passages from the Bible and demonstrate how the Hebrew language reveals an entirely different layer of meaning than we are used to hearing when we read Scripture in English. We’ll take a look at the relationship between time and space, between the creation and the Creator, and even in our perception of God.
